Description
The villa enjoys a privileged location just 10 minutes from the historic center of Siena, while placing guests in the heart of the Chianti wine region. Shops, restaurants, and everyday conveniences are a short drive away, and the nearby highway provides easy access to Florence, Val d’Orcia, and many of Tuscany’s most celebrated destinations.
The house is surrounded by a fully private garden exclusively for guests, creating a quiet and secluded setting to relax and enjoy the countryside. Outdoor living is central to the experience here: shaded areas beneath mature trees, comfortable spaces for relaxing, and open views across the valley create the perfect setting for long Tuscan afternoons.
The garden also features both a panoramic swimming pool and an outdoor hot tub, each positioned to take full advantage of the surrounding views. Whether cooling off during warm summer days or enjoying the warm water of the hot tub in the evening, the outdoor spaces invite guests to slow down and fully enjoy the landscape.
The thick stone walls of the house create a naturally comfortable environment, while modern air conditioning throughout the villa ensures additional comfort during the warmer months.
In the early morning, the valley below often fills with soft mist rising between the hills: a beautiful sight that can be enjoyed directly from the garden or the villa’s windows.
Pool & Hot Tub Availability
The private swimming pool is open from May 1st to September 30th.
The outdoor hot tub is available from April 1st to October 30th, and can also be opened upon request during winter months (additional 200,00 euro fee applies).

Interior Description
On the ground floor, a spacious living room with a welcoming fireplace invites guests to relax, while the elegant dining room and the fully equipped kitchen open directly onto the outdoor dining area — complete with a barbecue, tables, and chairs — perfect for enjoying long summer evenings under the Tuscan sky. This level also features a full bathroom with a whirlpool shower, as well as a laundry area with a washing machine and dryer.
Upstairs, three double bedrooms (each with air conditioning) offer serene views of the surrounding countryside. The floor includes two bathrooms — one with a Jacuzzi bathtub and one with a shower — both designed for comfort and relaxation.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the villa, which can also be rented during the winter months thanks to central heating. Imagine cozy evenings by the fireplace, a good book in hand, and a glass of Chianti in the other… the essence of authentic Tuscan living.
The private swimming pool is open from May 1st to September 30th.
The outdoor hot tub is available from April 1st to October 30th (and upon request from November 1st to March 31st for a €200 fee).

Working with Francesca & Ambra was fabulous. They organized day trips, experiences, dinners and drivers. We were in Siena and Sorrento during our trip and they organized everything in both locations. I would 100% recommend Best of Mas to anyone traveling to Italy.
We had the most amazing time at Francesca’s villa. The villa was beautiful and had the most amazing views. We felt like we’re in a movie. It was exactly what we were looking for in terms of experience in Tuscany. The villa had all the modern amenities but with a rustic Tuscan farmhouse vibe. The extra bonus was being able to work with Francesca and Ambra through their company The Best of Mas. They worked with us for over a year to help us plan a once in a life time trip, from logistics, to dinner reservations, wonderful day trips and tours in Tuscany, Sorrento and Capri. We will recommend The Best of Mas to any of our family and friends who are planning a trip to Italy. We can’t wait yo go back!

Second time at this villa in lovely Tuscany. We love it so much. Francesca is great and her team helps with everything/anything you might need. Very helpful! The view can't be beaten and we took full advantage of the pool. Bedrooms are comfortable with air conditioning in each of them. Multiple tables to sit and eat at - which we put all to use. Absolutely Epic week in Tuscany – and all thanks to Francesca and Best of Mas! We spent a week in Siena at one of her villas. Unbelievable is the only word I can think of to describe it - from the villa itself, to the pool, the hot tub, the fireplace, the bedrooms, and the bathrooms…everything was top notch. Add in the fantastic authentic Italian dinner Francesca personally cooked for us at the villa, the tours of Montepulciano and Pienza with Pepino driving us in a Mercedes Benz, and an unforgettable wine tasking bike tour led by Enrico, and I can’t give Francesca and the Best of MAS team a high enough recommendation!
I want to personally thank you for having been my special guests and really look forward to see you again in my house!

We had a wonderful stay at Capanna Al Lago The property has gorgeous, views of the picturesque Tuscan countryside. The property is peaceful and secluded, yet just minutes away from Sienna, making it the perfect getaway for relaxation. The spacious house is attractively decorated, blending traditional charm with modern comforts. Nicely accommodated bedrooms and bathrooms ensure a comfortable stay for all guests.
The views are enhanced by a pool, adding to the ambiance and likely providing a refreshing retreat on warm days although the weather was not warm enough during our stay. The hot tub is well maintained, with powerful jets that make it a great spot for relaxing under the stars.
A nearby supermarket made it easy to prepare meals, which we enjoyed on the patio table in the beautiful surroundings. We found it a good location for exploring the Tuscan countryside, medieval towns, and other sights. Francesca is a wonderful host and the team at Best of Mas was a delight to work with. We will be going back again in the future. Highly recommended.
