Descripción
La villa goza de una ubicación privilegiada a solo 10 minutos del centro histórico de Siena, encontrándose al mismo tiempo en el corazón de la región vinícola del Chianti. Tiendas, restaurantes y servicios de primera necesidad están a pocos minutos en coche, mientras que la autovía cercana permite llegar fácilmente a Florencia, al Val d’Orcia y a muchos de los destinos más célebres de la región.
La casa está inmersa en un jardín totalmente privado para uso exclusivo de los huéspedes, lo que crea un ambiente íntimo y reservado para relajarse y disfrutar de la quietud rural. La vida al aire libre es el eje central de la experiencia: zonas de sombra bajo árboles centenarios, cómodos espacios de relax y una vista abierta sobre el valle ofrecen el marco perfecto para las largas tardes toscanas.
El jardín cuenta además con una piscina panorámica y una bañera de hidromasaje exterior, ambas posicionadas para aprovechar al máximo el paisaje circundante. Ya sea para refrescarse durante los cálidos días de verano o para disfrutar del calor del hidromasaje al anochecer, los espacios exteriores invitan a los huéspedes a reducir el ritmo y a sumergirse por completo en el entorno.
Los gruesos muros de piedra de la casa garantizan un ambiente naturalmente fresco, mientras que el moderno sistema de aire acondicionado presente en toda la villa asegura un confort ideal incluso en los meses más calurosos.
A primera hora de la mañana, el valle suele cubrirse de una ligera niebla que asciende entre las colinas: un espectáculo de rara belleza que puede admirarse directamente desde el jardín o desde las ventanas de la villa.

En la planta baja, un amplio salón con chimenea ofrece un espacio relajante para reunirse, mientras que el elegante comedor y la cocina totalmente equipada se abren directamente al área de comedor exterior. Desde aquí, los huéspedes pueden pasar fácilmente de los espacios interiores a los exteriores, disfrutando de sus comidas bajo el cielo de la Toscana.
La cocina incluye todo lo necesario para cocinar con total relax durante la estancia: horno, microondas, frigorífico, congelador, cafetera espresso, cafetera americana, moka tradicional, hervidor, tostadora, máquina de hielo y copas de vino.

En la planta superior, tres dormitorios dobles ofrecen una vista serena del campo circundante. Cada habitación está equipada con aire acondicionado para garantizar el máximo confort en los meses más cálidos.
La planta superior también incluye dos baños, uno con bañera de hidromasaje Jacuzzi y otro con ducha. Los interiores y los baños han sido diseñados por el propietario, un arquitecto que vivió personalmente en la villa, otorgando a la casa un refinado equilibrio entre el carácter tradicional toscano y el confort contemporáneo.
La conexión Wi-Fi está disponible en toda la casa, mientras que la calefacción central permite disfrutar de la villa también en las estaciones más frescas. Las noches frente a la chimenea con una copa de Chianti crean una atmósfera cálida e invitante durante las estancias de otoño e invierno.

CHECK IN RULES
We kindly ask you to inform our Concierge service of the exact number of guests at phone number +39 393 4252583.
Upon check-in, you will be required to present the passports or ID cards of all guests for registration with the State Police portal, as required by law. Access to the property is not possible without this information.
TOURIST TAX
You will also be asked to pay the city tourist tax, which must be paid in cash upon arrival (credit card payments will not be accepted). Based on the provisions of art. 4 of the Legislative Decree n. 23 of 14 March 2011) the Italian municipalities with a predominantly tourist vocation can request the tourist tax, intended to finance interventions in the field of tourism including those in support of accommodation facilities, the maintenance, use and recovery of cultural and environmental assets, as well as local public services.
The amounts of this tax are established by the municipality to which the booked property belongs and must be paid in cash upon arrival on site and it is paid by each month of stay.
Inside the villa, you will find a summary of the house rules, which we kindly ask you to respect:
BEFORE DEPARTURE
Please dispose of all rubbish Leave the kitchen tidy: the sink should be empty, and the stovetop clean and free of food scraps, dirty dishes, or pans.
Please leave all used towels on the bathroom floor.
Turn off all lights and air conditioning units before leaving the villa.
ADDITIONAL CLEANING
If the villa is left in a dirty condition or with rubbish remaining, an additional cleaning fee of €100 will be charged.
GATE ACCESS
The electric gate can be opened using the remote control provided (one per set of keys) or entering the code 240181A to the left of the gate. The gate closes automatically.
ELECTRICITY AND HEATING USAGE
Hot tub, swimming, pool, appliances and outdoor lighting are included in the rental price.
Indoor lighting and airconditioning will be charged at €0.50 per kWh.
Heating is charged based on consumption €3 x cubic meter
Toilet paper, coffee pods, rubbish bags, coffee filters and dishwasher pods are provided at the start of your stay.
Additional supplies should be purchased as needed during your stay.

Stayed 3 weeks. Photos do not do justice or capture the true charm. Francesca and her "Best of Mas" team went above and beyond to make our Tuscan experience authentic and maximally enjoyable. The villa is true to its heritage in a vineyard yet full of the modern conveniences that make staying there more than enjoyable. From the view to the smell of tuscan air coming through the windows at night, we had a wonderful stay. Perfectly located in Tuscany for exploring the many vineyards, rolling hills and medieval cities. All you need is a car, EZ PARK APP, and google maps.

Working with Francesca & Ambra was fabulous. They organized day trips, experiences, dinners and drivers. We were in Siena and Sorrento during our trip and they organized everything in both locations. I would 100% recommend Best of Mas to anyone traveling to Italy.
We had the most amazing time at Francesca’s villa. The villa was beautiful and had the most amazing views. We felt like we’re in a movie. It was exactly what we were looking for in terms of experience in Tuscany. The villa had all the modern amenities but with a rustic Tuscan farmhouse vibe. The extra bonus was being able to work with Francesca and Ambra through their company The Best of Mas. They worked with us for over a year to help us plan a once in a life time trip, from logistics, to dinner reservations, wonderful day trips and tours in Tuscany, Sorrento and Capri. We will recommend The Best of Mas to any of our family and friends who are planning a trip to Italy. We can’t wait yo go back!

Second time at this villa in lovely Tuscany. We love it so much. Francesca is great and her team helps with everything/anything you might need. Very helpful! The view can't be beaten and we took full advantage of the pool. Bedrooms are comfortable with air conditioning in each of them. Multiple tables to sit and eat at - which we put all to use. Absolutely Epic week in Tuscany – and all thanks to Francesca and Best of Mas! We spent a week in Siena at one of her villas. Unbelievable is the only word I can think of to describe it - from the villa itself, to the pool, the hot tub, the fireplace, the bedrooms, and the bathrooms…everything was top notch. Add in the fantastic authentic Italian dinner Francesca personally cooked for us at the villa, the tours of Montepulciano and Pienza with Pepino driving us in a Mercedes Benz, and an unforgettable wine tasking bike tour led by Enrico, and I can’t give Francesca and the Best of MAS team a high enough recommendation!

We had a wonderful stay at Capanna Al Lago The property has gorgeous, views of the picturesque Tuscan countryside. The property is peaceful and secluded, yet just minutes away from Sienna, making it the perfect getaway for relaxation. The spacious house is attractively decorated, blending traditional charm with modern comforts. Nicely accommodated bedrooms and bathrooms ensure a comfortable stay for all guests.
The views are enhanced by a pool, adding to the ambiance and likely providing a refreshing retreat on warm days although the weather was not warm enough during our stay. The hot tub is well maintained, with powerful jets that make it a great spot for relaxing under the stars.
A nearby supermarket made it easy to prepare meals, which we enjoyed on the patio table in the beautiful surroundings. We found it a good location for exploring the Tuscan countryside, medieval towns, and other sights. Francesca is a wonderful host and the team at Best of Mas was a delight to work with. We will be going back again in the future. Highly recommended.
