Very comfortable villa in a beautiful setting. Close to Siena but away from the touristy areas and crowds. Our hosts were terrific - welcomed us with fresh eggs, honey and wine. All of our favorites! Anjelica also shared great recommendations during our stay. Highly recommend.

Claudio and Angelica's villa was incredible. We were in Italy for 2 weeks and our stay with them was the highlight of our trip. The villa is something out of a fairytale. When we arrived we received homemade honey and eggs from their farm. They helped with restaurant recommendations and any questions we had about the city. Also we arrived in one of the worst heat waves throughout Europe and the ACs were all working very well which was much appreciated. We will be back with family and friends next time!

We can’t speak highly enough of the beauty and comfort of the villa and Angelica’s service. She was immensely helpful and accommodating, arranging for an early check in and scheduling taxi reservations for us. The house and grounds are amazing and you won’t regret staying here!

This home was a wonderful “home away from home.” It made for a relaxing spot to enjoy and explore Siena and the surrounding area. The house was beautiful and comfortable and the hosts provided everything we needed for our stay. Capanna di ElfThe villa was a perfect place, providing our group with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It was immaculately clean, and even better than the photos. We cooked in for dinner two nights and enjoyed both outdoor patio spaces. Angelica was a perfect host greeting us on arrival and departure. We hope to come back again!

The best Villa ever!! Everything about it was perfect. From the owners, to the animals (hens and ducks and rabbits) on the property not to mention the best accommodations and the properties flowers and grounds were gorgeous.

Highly recommended for group stays. You will not be disappointed. We all loved the location as well.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Angelica and Claudio have thought of everything when renovating this barn into a modern yet authentic villa. Angelica was always available to help us with questions about our stay and also recommend places to visit and eat. Sitting at the table looking at the views, listening to the chickens was stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lots of room for 7 people.

This was the perfect location to end our trip to Italy.
The location and house were gorgeous! Rolling hills, beautiful sunsets, and a really spacious comfortable place to relax. The hosts were very welcoming.

My family and I had an amazing stay at this villa!
For reference, we were a group of 6 adults and 2 young children (a baby and a toddler), so finding a kid-friendly place was a high priority for us. We loved that the villa came with a crib, high chair, kid utensils, and an outdoor playset, which entertained my kids for a long time.

The property is beautiful - we watched some epic sunsets and enjoyed evening sessions in the hut tub underneath the stars. It is also conveniently located, less than a 20 minute drive to Siena and about 50 minutes to San Gimignano. The team of hosts here is also wonderful: Angelica and her son greeted us at check-in and helpfully showed us around the villa.
Francesca at Best of Mas also helped us schedule a welcome dinner with a personal chef our first night at the villa and coordinated a rental car for us, which we were so grateful for!

Overall we had a lovely experience here and would highly recommend.

The villa was lovely. It was clean and spacious and well appointed. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained and the views from the property were breathtaking. The host could not have been more welcoming. I'd recommend the villa to anyone planning to visit the area.

Our family had an amazing time staying at Capanna di Elfo in Siena. The villa was perfect in every way and our hosts Angelica and Claudio were very attentive. Francesca and Ambra of Best of Mas were wonderful. They coordinated two exceptional wine tours, which included their driver, Luca, as our chauffeur for the day. They listened to our wine preferences and chose wineries that offered both white and red selections to accommodate our groups’ preferences. Each winery presented beautiful charcuterie boards with the tastings.
They also arranged a family dinner at the villa with Chef Ricardo. He was excellent and spent time explaining his cooking techniques and showing our granddaughter how to make homemade Tagliatelle. The meal was outstanding.
Francesca and Ambra were really great to work with and I would highly recommend using Best of Mas when planning a trip to Italy.

Our experience was absolutely incredible! The people were warm and friendly and their son brought us fresh eggs. They were flexible and knowledgeable. The property is gorgeous and the house was so well designed and immaculate. It’s the perfect blend of fresh and new and homey and warm.

The BoMas team helped arrange a cooking class, bike tour, hill town visit and wine tasting. The cooking class and bike ride were highlights of our entire stay in Italy! They were not cheap, but we used it as a “you get what you pay for” lesson for our daughter and in this case it was well worth the price.
We already can’t wait to return!

We loved everything about our 5 night stay. The house was perfect for our party of 6, three couples. Location was fantastic for exploring Siena and the Chianti region. The hosts were helpful, responsive and easy to communicate with (they advised when we needed medical assistance to remove stitches).

We cooked dinner at the house a couple times. Kitchen is fully equipped and the property was beautiful. Lovely outdoor space and views. We only wish we had reserved the house for a longer period.

This was a perfect house for our family with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The design is brilliant. Our host, Angelica, thought of everything for our stay. The kitchen was well stocked and perfect for our cooking class that we coordinated with Best of Mas. The property is spectacular with incredible views and stunning sunsets. The location is great, close to Siena, and accessible to many wineries. I highly recommend this house! I want to go back and stay longer! Perfect for families and small groups!!

Capanna di Elfo seems like it was perfectly designed for us. Every bedroom had an ensuite bath, the kitchen had everything you could need, the décor was authentic and homey, and the views from the property were breathtaking! Claudio and Angelica were perfect hosts and even though we don't speak Italian and they speak little English, we made it just fine with Google Translate!

This villa is located about 10 minutes outside of Sienna. Grocery stores are easily accessible but do require a short drive. The home is well kept and beautifully decorated. There is a nice size living room and large kitchen table and another table on the covered porch. The hot tub was nice and clean. The house is well kept and features 4 equally nice bedrooms, each with a bathroom. Kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to cook meals at home. Rooms have individual air conditioners. There is a terrace overlooking the area with beautiful views at sunrise and sunset. Also on the terrace is nice charcoal grill and picnic table which we enjoyed using and eating outside. The owners house is behind the home so they are very responsive. There is a washer but no dryer, but they do provide dryer racks.

We took advantage of the tours and transportation services from Best Of Mas and this worked great and is highly reccomended.

The villa was amazing, clean, with plenty of space and privacy in every room. The hosts were wonderful and extremely kind, they welcomed us warmly and were available for anything we needed. The villa is just a few minutes away from Siena, so it was very convenient. The view from the villa is stunning, and there’s also a supermarket just a short drive away. The villa had all the equipment needed to cook meals, plenty of towels, and everything was clean. The jacuzzi was great and easy to heat. In short, everything was perfect and we highly recommend it!

Angelica and Claudio were great hosts. Very kind and accommodating. We decided to eat in one night and cook using the bbq. Angelica had set up the bbq ready for us to use in no time! Great stay, super homey place with breath taking views.

We spent 6 night at the villa. It was a perfect stay in Siena. Highly recommend its everything u need. The owner also very nice and friendly, will definitely come back if i come back to siena.

This beautiful villa exceeded all expectations! Our hosts were so kind and gracious and even brought us fresh eggs and honey from their hens and hives. The location was peaceful, on a beautiful hillside, and an easy drive for groceries and into Siena to explore that wonderful city. We had six adults in our group so we only needed three of the four bedrooms, but each came with an en suite bathroom. The beds and bedding were fresh and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking all manner of food and the hot tub was immaculate and a wonderful end to our hot days exploring, once the sun went down.

The home couldn’t have been more perfect for us. Angelica greeted us when we arrived and was always available for us if there was anything we needed. The home location made it very easy for us to travel to several parts of the Tuscany area with ease. I had no issues and would highly recommend this home for anyone staying in the Tuscany area. I would definitely stay here again when I travel back to the Tuscany area.

Private feedback : Francesca Was great for not only setting up the property. She handled all the transfers for my whole family and rental cars to be at the home when we arrived. Everything that was set up was just perfect. I would highly recommend Best of Mas for any of your travel needs.

Wow!!! This is how we can explain this house, location and the host. This was one the best view we had in our this trip in Italy. With all around green and a house with all facilities along with a great host……

This villa is beautiful, comfortable and the views are spectacular in all directions! Francesca & Ambra from Best of Mas stopped by on our first night at the villa to welcome us. Without a doubt, Capanna Di Elfo was our favorite rental in 40 years of travel and the Best of Mas team is unbeatable! We will return to this spectacular villa!

My friends and I had an amazing experience at this villa -- the hosts were incredibly responsive when we accidentally locked ourselves out! And the home was incredibly comfortable and just as advertised. I recommend this villa to anyone who wants a peaceful, relaxing Tuscany experience.

We absolutely loved our stay! The hosts were lovely and made us feel right at home. They were always responsive and they even brought us some fresh vegetables from their garden!

This place is a gem. There were 4 of us that stayed and each of us had our own room with private bath. The home was spacious, clean, and well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the location was beautiful. There are plenty of breathtaking views from the windows and around the home. We would definitely stay here again. The hot tub and washing machine were an added bonus. There is no dryer, but there are dryer racks. Communication was fantastic throughout the entire stay.

We visited with a group of four adults and a 15 month old and had the best stay at this farmhouse! The home is decorated in the typical Tuscan style and is so beautiful. There were four spacious bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms which gave our group lots of space and privacy. The living room and kitchen were perfect gathering spaces filled with natural light. We cooked a few meals while we were there and the kitchen was fully equipped with what we needed. The best part of this home was the surrounding views of the Siena hills! We spent every day walking around and admiring the extraordinary views here. As a bonus, there was a hot tub! The perfect end to a day spent walking around the hill towns of Tuscany. The owners of the property were there whenever we needed them and were very gracious and friendly hosts. We really enjoyed all aspects of this house and would definitely return!
