Over fifty years ago, Maria discovered this once-forgotten farmhouse and chose to bring it back to life. Together with her husband François, she transformed it into a home that has welcomed generations. Today, that same spirit continues — a place designed for sharing, slowing down, and feeling at ease.
The villa is surrounded by a generous garden filled with Mediterranean herbs, flowering plants, ancient oaks, and olive trees.
The pool: Set in a private corner of the estate (12 × 5 m), with a shallow area for children, a veranda, shaded areas, and space for long, relaxed meals and an outdoor shower, fully fenced grounds, surrounded by woodland near Colle di Val d’Elsa, Villa Timignano sits directly on the ancient Via Francigena, the historic route connecting Canterbury to Rome.

Suite 4:the heart of the villa, the main first-floor residence brings everyone together, made of a spacious living and dining area with fully equipped kitchen with direct access to a large panoramic terrace, ideal for outdoor dining with views over the surrounding woodland: Two double bedrooms (French beds), One full bathroom (with shower and bathtub) + one service bathroom and an Attic room in the upper floor: the Upper-level bedroom with French bed, Private half-bath, elevated views over the trees, with a quiet, tucked-away feel
